 This double event hosts our past Chairpersons while kicking off our exciting 2016 educational programs on security, safety and loss prevention.

WHERE WERE YOU 30 YEARS AGO?

All past Chairpersons are welcome to come free of charge. Consider bringing a  guest entrant to the association and being their mentor for the evening. 

All past Chapter Chairpersons will be honored with a celebratory toast by Dan Kropp, CPP, 1994 past GPC Chairperson, Global 2003 President and 2004 Chairman of the Board. Chairman Kropp will acknowledge all of their foundational services to our chapters 57 years and the start of ASIS GPC 2016 exceptionally tailored programs in security.

Steve Chupa, CPP former 1992 ASIS International GPC Chairperson, Global 2007 President and 2008 Chairman of the Board will address the past 30 years of ASIS and what the future holds for security professionals and our chapters need to address changes in concentration and participation. He will address core values he professionally promotes at Wharton to align chapter values with objectives in today's and tomorrows business environment.

 

Our Program: Critical Infrastructure Protection of Energy Assets

We are delighted to welcome Michael Melvin, Sr. Manager PECO Security to discuss Critical Infrastructure Protection of Energy Assets. Michael will be presenting this engaging topic with video support describing PECO’s Security team and their efforts to protect employees, contractors and critical assets,  including 500 substations, 29,000 miles of distribution and transmission lines, 31 gas gate stations and 6,600 miles of underground gas mains.  PECO is an Exelon utility operating in the Philadelphia, PA region for more than a century.
