The DVIC serves as the central point in the Delaware Valley region for the collection, analysis and, timely dissemination of all-hazards information. The fusion center concept is integral to the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) strategic initiative for information sharing.

Fusion centers are critical to forging strong partnerships and information sharing among state, local, and federal government agencies. It is important that these agencies act upon valid intelligence in order to successfully manage criminal, terrorist and homeland security threats within the DVIC area of operations.

Learn how the DVIC coordinates with local, state and federal agencies, and members of critical infrastructure sectors to ensure a coordinated intelligence exchange and to disseminate information and all-hazards “best practices.” Understand how DVIC serves as an information source for suspected or actual terrorist acts, natural disasters, criminal activity, and helps to facilitate comprehensive protection strategies.
